The TOYOTA GRAND PRIX of LONG BEACH is one of California’s most popular annual events.  In co-operation with the main event organizers, we host the ICES MINI GRAND PRIX which regularly attracts over 3,000 participants. Throughout the year ICES After School Mechanics Clubs are providing varied construction learning opportunities and during the Spring term the focus is on construction of Grand Prix Go-Karts.  The Go Kart competition (Aesthetic production and Racing) is the focal point of this grand event but ICES After School Cooking/Nutrition Clubs compete in the Chili Cook Off, Arts and Crafts Clubs display their wares and there is a Spelling Bee, an ‘Improv’ competition and a wide variety of sports competitions and displays as well as great food, music, dancing and other  activities. An After School event not to be missed!
