About our After School programs
ICES comprehensive programs include homework assistance and a wide range of enrichment classes both academic and recreational in nature. All of these are conducted in a fun and safe environment. They generally operate in schools with free or reduced lunch populations greater than 50%. However, special arrangements can be made to CUSTOM BUILD for any school. Many students struggle academically
and risk falling behind their peers as their families often can't afford the
benefits of additional private tutoring. Statistically, between the hours of
2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. (week days) are the peak time for juvenile crime and experimentation with drugs, cigarettes, alcohol and sex. Many parents
work multiple jobs and consequently can't be home during this critical
time. ICES offers a safe and educationally stimulating environment during this

Although ICES After School programs are structured to operate within State Department of Education parameters, we also offer unique, value-added ENHANCED ENRICHMENT and CREDIT RECOVERY programs in Literacy, Math, Technology, Nutrition, Fitness and SAT. Depending on individual needs, these may operate within typical After School program hours or during weekend , vacations etc. For more information please contact ICES main office to learn about opportunities in your area.
